A young woman reunites with her brother, who has been discharged from a mental institution, years after being convicted of the murder of their father. She takes him to their childhood home, where together they try to capture the dark force that has wreaked destruction on their lives. The film had its’ premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and became one of the year’s major hits, making a profit of $27 million at the box office with a budget of only 5 million.
