Screenwriter and director Charlie Kaufman ("Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind", "Synecdoche, New York") present a new film, based on a play he wrote under the pen name francis fregoli. Michael Stone wrote a best seller book about customer service, but struggles with inability to connect to people in his private life. stone (David Thewlis of "Naked" and "Harry Potter") is a lonely man, who feel disconnected from every person in his life, including his wife and son. During a business trip to cincinnati he meets a woman named lisa, and the meeting awakens feelings he didn't experienced in a long, long time. Kuafman, alongside director Duke Johnson ("Mary Shelley's Frankenhole" and the Christmas animated special for "community"), created an adult stop-motion animated film, came to life with a little help via kickstarter. the film won the grand jury prize at venice film festival and the best director prize at Austin Fantastic Fest.
