A multidisciplinary artist and educator, Graduate of the BFA program at Bezaleal Academy of Art & Design and MA in interdisciplinary arts at Tel Aviv university, lectures and teaches at a variety of institutions in Israel and internationally. Shirel creates performances and installations using sculpture, video sound and text some of her recent works include “Tourformance” – a collaborative work with artist Maya Elran and “Dinner” – a video installation at the Midrasha gallery in Tel Aviv. Shirel established “Art on the go” – a three months ongoing performance series.
