Born and raised in Istanbul. Studied Film Studies and Art History at University of Kent, UK. Made 6 independent short horror films, and around 30 TV commercials, before his first feature film. BASKIN is the first ever Turkish genre film to be released in US (by IFC Midnight). Signed with WME, during the world premiere at Toronto Film Festival.
