Aya Korem is an Israeli artist, composer and singer. Her debut album earned her the titles Song of the Year and Singer of the Year, followed by four more albums. Following her struggle with a record label in which she won in 2015, Korem initiated a bill to limit the contracts in the music industry, which entered Israel’s law book in 2017. Her latest album, 2023, is a sci-fi concept album about a dystopian future in which many artists, including Leah Shabak, Arkadi Duchin, Efrat Gosh, Yishai Levi and many others. Korem won ACUM’s award of the year.
