Eran Hadas

A poet, programmer and media artist. Half Reading is his eighth book. Guest artist at Caltech in 2017, Digital Media lecturer at Tel Aviv University. He composed the (hebrew) palindrome, ‘only a poor bastard swallows cold ketchup’.

About Half Reading: A book of poetry in which each poem is divided into two: a part that appears in the book itself, and a part that is a augmented reality, and can be read by a mobile phone. The book deals with the surrender of literature to technology. In a world where many young people can not read a book continuously but can not take their eyes off the phone screen, what is the status of reading?
