Ian is a scientist researching the evolution of the eye, in order to eventually dispute Creationism. After brutally losing his girlfriend Sofi, Ian sinks into paralyzing desperation, until his lab partner discovers something that would help him change the world. Years later, the two scientists find a girl whose eyes are exactly like Sofi’s. Ian embarks on a journey to find her, in an attempt to discover if the universe holds a higher, spiritual power after all. From director Mike Cahill (“Another Earth”) comes another touching drama that raises philosophical and moral questions about life, humanity and beyond. The film will participate in the festival's international competition.
