Actress, Screenwriter, director, producer and script editor.
As an actor she performed the lead role in Close to Home, Dalia Hager & Vidi Bilu CIACA award winner at the 2006 Berlin film festival, she performed in various TV series such as Bat Yam – New York and Zinzana, and recently had performed in Avishay Sivan’s Tikkun (winner of the 2015 Utopia award).
Her work as director includes the children’s TV series Doctor X, Ein Kamoti as well as commercials and promotional films.
Her script The Daily War of Survival won first prize in the scriptwriting awards of the 2006 Cinema South Film Festival.
Her dark urban fantasy script The Other Side had received a grant from the NFCT, Oryah is currently developing it as a novel trilogy and a TV series.
Another project Oryah is currently working on is her first full-length feature film, the social fantasy Black Mariah, which had received development grants from both the Israeli Film Fund and the Rabinovich Foundation.
Oryah is represented by the Kneller Artists Agency.
