Yaelle Kayam is a Screenwriter and Director. Mountain, her debut feature film, has premiered at Orizontti Official selection, Venice film festival 2015 and at New Discovery Toronto film festival 2015. The film was screened in film festivals worldwide and received numerous awards, among them best Film and best director at Fribourg film festival 2016, and special jury award at the San Francisco film festival.
Her short film Diploma (22 min) won third place at the ‘Cinefondation’ Cannes film festival 2009. It was screened in over 80 festivals worldwide, won 14 international awards and was Purchased by Canal+.
Kayam was chosen for Best Director of the year 2016 by the Israeli Critic Forum.
